FAQ
Do you offer free inspections or estimates?
Yes! We provide 100% free, no-obligation inspections and estimates.
We aim to be on site within 72 hours, depending on your location. Written copies are always provided. We are always happy to take a look and provide honest recommendations!
Who will be coming out to give the estimate?
Depending on the requested service(s) and location, one of our qualified sales representatives will come out and provide an estimate.
If you’re in the Bismarck/Mandan area, you can expect to have Logan show up at your estimate.
If you’re outside of Bismarck/Mandan, you can expect to have Aaron show up at your estimate.
Do you work with insurance companies/claims?
Yes! We can assist with manufacturer warranty claims as well as personal homeowner insurance and commercial property insurance. While the adjusters are well trained, they represent the companies they are hired by or are affiliated with — meaning they have their companies interest in mind. We always offer to be at your home during your adjuster visit — that way there is a professional present with YOUR best interest in mind.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
We offer both manufacturer warranties on materials and our own 2 year workmanship warranty, so you’re covered on both fronts. Our wind warranty, for example, gives customers peace of mind that their roof is protected even after severe weather.
How do I know if I have storm damage?
Storm damage isn’t always visible from the ground. We provide free storm inspections to identify hidden issues caused by wind, hail, or debris. We’ll document any damage and walk you through next steps if a repair or insurance claim is needed.
What sets Kilde Construction apart from the competition?
We focus on quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and fast response times—especially after storms. We’re local, so we know the area, the climate, and the building codes inside and out. And unlike big box contractors, you’ll deal directly with real people who care about your home. Pus, we’re the only GAF Master Elite®–certified contractors in Bismarck, ND—a status earned by meeting GAF’s rigorous requirements for training, insurance, and customer satisfaction. Fewer than 2 percent of roofers nationwide hold this credential, so you’re working with the best of the best.
Why does the GAF Master Elite® certification matter to me as a homeowner?
GAF Master Elite® contractors can offer the exclusive Golden Pledge® Warranty, which adds 25-year workmanship coverage and 50-year material coverage backed directly by GAF—not just our company. It also means your roof is installed by crews who follow GAF’s exacting installation protocols.
